In this one-hour session, you are guided through a gentle sequence of movements, which help improve the function, mobility and range of motion of the spine and other joints in the body. We stretch and release tension in tight areas such as shoulders, neck, sides of the chest, hips and lower back. Other exercises work to gently strengthen the shoulders, upper back, thighs and abdominal muscles. There is also an emphasis on the breath, which helps the body to relax and release stress and tension.
Kim has been teaching “Sit, Stretch and Strengthen” for 2 years and loves working with students of all ages. Her approach to teaching is lighthearted, supportive and encouraging. Kim lives in Chilliwack with her husband and two cats. She loves being in nature, spending time with family and travelling the world.
